Because our church mission statement is 'Serving God by connecting the unconnected to Christ and together grow in His love in a meanful and relevant way' we wanted to provide content that is relevant to our members and our visitors. Therefore, within the site you will find pages detailing about our church and beliefs, contact details and upcoming event information.

WHAT ARE THE VALUES OF NEW HARVEST COMMUNITY CHURCH?
Our VALUES are best described as the ‘ABCDE’ of church life and are:
A - for ADORATION
We worship a magnificent God who is all loving and full of grace and who wants everyone to come to know this love through Jesus Christ. We therefore desire to worship him in ‘Spirit and Truth’ and to experience God’s presence in our individual and corporate meetings asking Him to demonstrate His glory through us in all that we do.
B - for BELONGING
We are a people who clearly belong to God and who know that we are in relationship with Jesus Christ. In the knowledge of this relationship, we seek to belong to and serve his church ‘the body of Christ’ whilst we discover real and authentic friendship relationships and looking to introduce others into this caring and loving community.
C - for COMPASSION
With the knowledge of our ‘saving faith’ in Jesus Christ – we seek to care and love each other as Jesus loved his disciples - and who was prepared to die for us all that we may be released from everything that would prevent us from coming to know God.
D - for DISCIPLESHIP
Teaching everyone to discover God and how we can mature and develop into a people who love him and carry out His commands as we love others by putting our faith into action in our everyday lives in serving God.
E - for EVANGELISM
Going into all the world to teach about Christ and command that that they obey everything that the Lord Jesus Christ taught.
By experiencing God’s saving faith through Jesus Christ and then responding by putting his commands into action by living our daily lives for Christ and seeing many come to know him and love him and have their lives changed for the better as they become members of the local church - often referred to as ‘The Hope for the World’.
Beliefs
Statement of Faith - We believe in...
1. We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory, and that this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all.
2. We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal being, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of His people; that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
3. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, constant intercession for His people, and personal, visible return to earth.
4. We believe in the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of guilt relating to sin, righteousness, sanctifies and empowers for ministry, all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide. we believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
5. We believe that the Scriptures (Bible) of Old and New Testament are the Word of God, fully inspired and infallible.
6. We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are therefore, under condemnation, that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit all those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that there is no other means of reconciliation to God other than through Jesus Christ and that Jesus Christ indwells every believer by the Holy Spirit and empowers for service.
7. We believe in the priesthood of all believers, who form the universal church, the body of which Jesus Christ is the head, and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world.
8. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: baptism and communion. We believe in baptism by immersion and communion open to all believers.

Church ServicesOur times together start at 10.15am with Coffee, Tea and pastries available and the services start at 10:30am with some worship lead by our band. There will then be some short notices and a 30 minute talk from the Bible followed an opportunity for prayer before we finish at approximately 12.00. After the service drinks and pastries are available again and if you are visiting we would love to meet you, so please do not rush off. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask any of our welcome team.We provide a youth and child friendly version of church for our young people and (year 6 and over) share in the Praise and Worship but then leave to go to their dedicated areas for their own programme under the care of our experienced team of youth workers. All of our children's workers are CRB checked.You are most welcome to join us on a Sunday morning and we hope you have a great morning with us.Lukas and Ameila Roos (Senior Pastors)

Little HarvestersThis is the place to be on a Sunday morning if you are from age 2 to Year 6.Here on a Sunday morning we provide a child-friendly version of the church service experience complete with music, fun and often messy games, crafts and Bible lessons.Little Harvesters encourages children to discover God's love for them.For more information contact us on

SeedlingsSeedlings is a group for younger children aged 2-5 years. Here, they can play in a safe place and caring environment. Our devoted team lead the children in games, music and crafts encouraging their faith from the youngest age.We believe that young children will come to love our Lord through our example of Christian attitudes and loving care in action.We provide the best care following Jesus example. Baptism
We believe that the Bible teaches that we should all be baptised once we have made a confession of personal belief in Jesus Christ and it is therefore our pleasure from time to time to include a baptism service in our calendar. If you are thinking you would like to be baptised then please contact Lukas Roos or any of the church leaders who will be pleased to discuss this with you.
